Wesley Paines 2012

There's more emptiness in the air than there used to be, and its spores grow flowers of dust in the lungs.
 - from Fremder

Left at the Apáczai Educational Centre, Pécs, Hungary

I had just started reading Angelica Lost and Found when I heard of Russell Hoban's death. It will take some time before I bring myself to finish it, knowing that it will be the last thing by him that I will ever read.

This classic quote from Fremder just about summed up what was going on in December. The snow (now somewhat deeper) could not be more apposite.
