Many thanks to everyone who dropped Russell Hoban quotes around the world yesterday!There were many tweets, a news story, lots of Facebook updates, some photos on Flickr and several new 4qations posted initially here as comments on yesterday's post.
The webmaster and his accomplice visited Russell Hoban - now 85 - at his London home to deliver the Kraken's birthday gifts (a fine whisky, some DVDs and chocolates, as well as flowers for Mrs Hoban). Russ was in great shape and entertained his guests in fine fashion til lunchtime. The Krakonic delegation then Tubed it westwards leaving yellow paper quotes in various locations.
